Process Engineer (Extrusion)

What you will do

• Develop new products and support safe launch and mass-production readiness.
• Refine and standardize extrusion process parameters to improve cost, quality, efficiency, and product performance.
• Lead workshop process troubleshooting and maintain a lessons-learned database.
• Qualify and implement new raw materials and lead engineering-related ECN, TD, and 4-New changes.
• Plan engineering trials, design DOE studies, and prepare technical documents such as product setup sheets.
• Lead continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, efficiency, failure-cause identification, and product performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent, preferably in mechanical engineering, plastic engineering, or a chemistry-related field.
• More than 3 years of experience in extrusion, plastics processing, rubber processing, or injection molding.
• Required experience or knowledge in plastic extrusion.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Experience with quality methods such as FMEA, SPC, and structured problem solving.
• Project management, analytical, execution, prioritization, time-management, collaboration, and customer-focus skills.

Nice to have

• Six Sigma or Lean training and experience with Lean, QCC, or Six Sigma.
• ISO system training.
• Good oral and written English.
