Senior Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Salem, New Hampshire, United States; onsite manufacturing environment

What you will do

• Provide sustaining engineering support for manual and automated manufacturing processes.
• Identify and resolve manufacturing issues using data collection, statistical analysis, root cause investigation, and failure analysis.
• Develop, document, standardize, and monitor production processes, operating conditions, and process controls.
• Lead Kaizen, 5S, process optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support product design, new product introduction, production transfer, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, quality, operations, program teams, and customers.
• Lead capital equipment projects and support Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in ceramic, materials, electrical, mechanical, chemical, or a related engineering discipline.
• Typically 8–10 years of direct engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, process controls, SPC, root cause analysis, DOE, FMEA, and structured problem solving.
• Experience with mechanical assembly, tooling, fixture design, CAD, and GD&T.
• Strong mathematical, statistical, project management, and cross-functional communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident due to ITAR requirements; English communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with Minitab and basic programming.
• Experience with high-reliability manufacturing, continuous improvement, capital equipment projects, process control, and new product introduction.
