Shift Equipment Engineer

What you will do

• Sustain equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshoot issues during shift hours.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and support to Shift Equipment Technicians and manufacturing staff.
• Manage first-level corrective action and recovery plans for out-of-control equipment situations.
• Conduct and direct equipment experiments, improvement actions, and assigned projects.
• Interface with day-shift equipment and process engineers and manufacturing teams on line issues.
• Organize, write, and maintain equipment checks, maintenance procedures, and documentation.

Requirements

• Degree or HND in a scientific or engineering discipline is preferred.
• Ideally, 3+ years of wafer fab experience.
• Detailed knowledge of wafer fab manufacturing equipment and systems, including electrical, electronic, and mechanical principles.
• Strong training, technical, teamwork, communication, and customer-service skills.
• Familiarity with JIT, Kanban, Zero Defects, SPC, TQM, and TPM concepts.
• Ability to work flexible hours and drive continuous improvement activities for assigned measures.

Nice to have

• Experience with implant, PVD, photolithography, metrology, wet etch, CMP, and dry etch equipment.
• Knowledge of Applied, Axcelis, Nikon, FSI, TEL, Hitachi, KLA, Semitool, Siconnex, Lam, Gasonics, or related wafer fabrication tools.
