Engineering Device Technician (Manufacturing Test Engineering)

What you will do

• Review yield and parametric data, investigate daily yield issues, and analyze production and engineering material.
• Communicate yield issues and technical details to shift and engineering teams.
• Review and disposition hold lots and investigate scrap events.
• Create near-miss and scrap incident reports and use kill-die and maverick-die elimination techniques to reject defective die.
• Perform additional inking to support device and outgoing inspection teams.
• Submit failure analyses, interpret results, conduct initial investigations, and provide weekend support.

Requirements

• Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably with fab or test experience.
• Ability to work in a busy manufacturing environment and manage changing or conflicting priorities.
• Ability to learn and use multiple software packages.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, self-motivation, and workload-management skills.
• Ability to work in both an office and clean room environment in Newport, UK.
