Telehealth Crisis Line Provider - W2 Part-Time

Location: Remote; Saturday shifts from 6pm to 12am ET, with potential additional evening or weekend shifts

Salary: $30/hour

hirify.global provides telehealth mental health services, including teletherapy, wellness coaching, telepsychiatry, and crisis support, for students at colleges and universities.

What you will do

• Respond warmly and empathetically to incoming calls from students seeking emotional or crisis support.
• Complete risk assessments and de-escalate situations involving potential self-harm or harm to others.
• Develop safety plans with students and recommend appropriate crisis interventions and next steps.
• Conduct follow-up calls to check on student welfare and encourage connection with services.
• Maintain detailed and accurate clinical documentation for each session.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in telehealth, crisis management, or a call center environment.
• Training and experience in assessment, crisis intervention, and treatment planning.
• Ability to learn and follow clinical policies, call-handling procedures, and operational protocols.
• Ability to remain professional and exercise independent judgment under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Availability for a non-traditional, shift-based schedule that may include evenings and weekends.

Nice to have

• Independent, unrestricted licensure for counseling or psychotherapy, such as LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist.
• At least 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling and psychotherapy.
• Interest in taking additional shifts to cover team member PTO.
