HR Leader – Canada Operations (Manufacturing): Leading HR strategy and people operations for Canada Operations teams, including the Mt. Royal manufacturing facility, with an accent on talent management, employee engagement, compliance, and organizational development. Focus on leading HR professionals, developing succession and staffing plans, analyzing HR data, and driving change across a matrixed operations environment.

Location: Mt. Royal Plant, Mount Royal, Quebec, Canada

Base salary for new hires: CAD 181,800–227,300 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

  • Lead HR strategy and delivery for Canada Operations, including the Mt. Royal manufacturing facility.
  • Own workforce planning, compensation administration, staffing, training, process improvement, and organizational development processes.
  • Drive talent development, staffing plans, internal talent moves, and succession planning for key leadership roles.
  • Partner with site leaders on employee relations, performance issues, manager training, engagement, and job enrichment.
  • Use HR metrics and data to guide talent, organizational design, budgeting, and people-cost decisions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR professionals while acting as a strategic business partner to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of dynamic human resources experience.
  • Experience leading HR teams and developing HR strategies that drive business results.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operations environment; food industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience working in matrixed organizations and knowledge of local employment laws, regulations, and HR best practices.
  • Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, communicate insights to senior leadership, manage teams, and lead through others.
