Senior Director, Global People & Talent Operations

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; on-site

Compensation: $235,000–$270,000 annually plus bonus and restricted stock units

What you will do

• Set the vision and architecture for people and talent systems, integrations, data hygiene, reporting, compliance, and employee experience.
• Own the end-to-end employee administration lifecycle across a global, multi-entity workforce, including hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
• Lead and develop the People Operations team and build a scalable service delivery model.
• Own data accuracy, audit readiness, controls, SOPs, and RACI documentation across People Operations.
• Partner with People Technology through Workday HCM go-live and translate operational needs into system and service-model decisions.
• Drive AI, agentic workflow, automation, enablement, self-service, and KPI-based continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in People Operations or HR Shared Services, including 7+ years leading teams through accelerated scaling and change.
• Experience designing, implementing, and iterating HR workflows, processes, policies, and systems for large employee and contractor populations.
• Experience operating shared services processes and infrastructure at scale and building service delivery models from the ground up.
• Direct experience with Workday HCM/HRIS and both its system and operational design.
• Experience managing cross-functional change, stakeholder alignment, compliance requirements, budgets, and operational data integrity.
• Ability to prioritize decisively and operate effectively in a fast-scaling environment.

Nice to have

• Experience with ADP, Ashby, or Lattice.
• Experience supporting organizations ranging from under 2,000 to approximately 25,000 people.
