Content & Localization Specialist (all genders)

Location: Berlin, Germany; presence in Berlin and a valid German work permit are required. The role is full-time at the Berlin office with a hybrid working model and flexible hours with defined core hours.

hirify.global operates a platform that connects trading card collectors, buyers, and sellers across Europe.

What you will do

• Conceptualize, draft, edit, and refine story-driven content across multiple channels for English-speaking users, including non-native speakers.
• Manage hirify.global’s News and Help channels and keep platform information accurate and up to date with the Support and Product teams.
• Oversee localization from original English copy through translation coordination and publication in French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
• Collaborate with Product, Support, Legal, and Games teams to define messaging, channels, and communication needs for upcoming initiatives.

Requirements

• At least six years of professional experience in writing, editing, and refining written content.
• Exceptional written English at C2 level; native proficiency preferred.
• Basic HTML knowledge for formatting and publishing localized content across the website and digital channels.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy, consistency, and tone across audiences.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments, adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently.
• Presence in Berlin and a valid work permit for Germany are required.

Nice to have

• Experience creating news articles or consumer-facing content for an online business.
• A bachelor’s degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
• Fluency in German, French, Spanish, or Italian.
• Understanding of hirify.global from buyer and seller perspectives.
• Experience with trading card games.
