Temporary Part-time Studio Technician (Television Production)

Salary: $19.00–$20.00 per hour

What you will do

• Operate camera, audio, visual, graphics, lighting, and digital equipment for studio production and transmission.
• Coordinate studio action with the director and studio staff, including productions conducted on location.
• Acquire broadcast signals using ENG, TVU, satellite receivers, Zoom, and related technologies.
• Operate prompting equipment, cue on-air talent, and prepare guests for news segments.
• Edit and record promos and weather elements using Adobe Premiere, and provide camera, audio, and lighting support.
• Move and maintain studio set pieces, furniture, and production equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• Ability to interact effectively with video journalists, anchors, videographers, news managers, production staff, and engineering staff.
• Basic computer knowledge, including Photoshop.
• Detail-oriented, with strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a high-stress environment with deadline pressures.

Nice to have

• Experience in television, film, or post-production.
