Seasonal FAST Video Systems Operator (FAST)

Location: Onsite in Inglewood, California, United States; remote and hybrid work are not offered. No relocation assistance is provided.

The National Football League Digital Media Group operates digital media and FAST channel video distribution for hirify.global programming.

What you will do

• Support live streaming of games, weekly shows, and major tent-pole events.
• Operate, monitor, and configure the digital video environment in Digital Master Control.
• Monitor service health metrics, alarms, and incidents, escalating issues and managing them through resolution.
• Perform streaming quality control, troubleshoot audio, video, and playout issues, and manage video routes for international game channels.
• Execute digital ad insertion operations, including SCTE-35 cue insertion, and maintain EPG metadata for live broadcasts.
• Create and maintain operational runbooks, scheduling documentation, incident reports, outage summaries, and status updates.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience in technical support, IT service desk, TOC, NOC operations, or a comparable role.
• Experience supporting live streaming, broadcast, or FAST channel environments, including monitoring operational incidents in 24/7 workflows.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, HLS, SRT, RTMP, SSH, content distribution networks, cloud video distribution platforms, and 2110 broadcast networks.
• Knowledge of Linux and/or Windows web servers, multi-viewer systems, encoding standards, and FAST distribution systems.
• Experience with SCTE-35 cue insertion, digital ad insertion, and troubleshooting in Linux, Mac, and Windows environments.
• Ability to work onsite with a flexible schedule covering early mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, holidays, and live production support windows.

Nice to have

• Direct sports broadcast production or production operations experience, including TV studio, truck, stadium, or similar broadcast environments.
• AI automation experience.
• BS degree or equivalent experience.
