Senior Staff Applications Verification Engineer (Semiconductors)

What you will do

• Develop and own pre-silicon hardware emulation and IC evaluation plans.
• Design portable verification IP for UVM pre-silicon environments, FPGA-based hardware emulation platforms, and final silicon.
• Evaluate system performance and verify design completeness before IC tapeouts.
• Develop laboratory automation for instrument and hardware-platform control, data collection, and results analysis.
• Design and maintain hardware platforms supporting IC designs and perform digital protocol compliance testing.
• Plan, track, and report project progress, milestones, issues, and test-plan delivery.

Requirements

• Degree, postgraduate qualification, or PhD in Electronic Engineering or a similar field.
• 10+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Comprehensive experience with power semiconductors, semiconductor physics, electronics engineering, and power conversion.
• Extensive experience developing design evaluation plans, FPGA-based IC verification plans, and UVM-supported verification environments.
• Strong understanding of power systems, performance optimization, debugging, analytical methods, and root-cause identification.
• Experience supporting applications teams, managing laboratory environments, working with cross-functional teams, and mentoring less experienced engineers.
