Principal Digital Implementation Engineer

What you will do

• Design, implement, and integrate high-quality synthesizable RTL using Verilog or SystemVerilog.
• Translate architectural requirements into efficient microarchitectures and RTL implementations for advanced SoCs and silicon platforms.
• Develop unit-level and block-level test environments and debug functional issues through simulation, waveform analysis, assertions, and verification tools.
• Collaborate with architects, verification engineers, physical design engineers, and downstream teams on design reviews, IP integration, and implementation issues.
• Support synthesis, timing analysis, linting, CDC analysis, and RTL-to-gates implementation flows.
• Document design decisions and contribute to improvements in RTL methodologies, automation, and development flows.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant RTL or ASIC design experience.
• Proficiency in Verilog or SystemVerilog and experience developing synthesizable RTL for ASIC or FPGA implementations.
• Understanding of digital logic, synchronous design principles, SoC interfaces, and protocols.
• Familiarity with simulation, RTL debugging, synthesis, timing, and physical implementation considerations.
• Strong technical problem-solving, written and verbal communication, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills, including customer communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with CPU, GPU, AI/ML, networking, memory controllers, high-speed interfaces, or other high-performance compute architectures.
• Knowledge of AMBA protocols such as AXI, AHB, and APB.
• Experience with low-power design, formal verification, assertions, static analysis, lint, CDC, and performance or power optimization.
