Front-office Senior Software Engineer, VP - Liquid Credit (C#/Python)

Location: New York, 601 Lex, United States

Salary: $160,000–$225,000 annual base salary, plus discretionary bonuses and additional compensation.

What you will do

• Build scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-native applications for Liquid Credit Strategies.
• Develop and integrate web applications, microservices, and data pipelines supporting portfolio managers and traders.
• Write automated unit, integration, deployment, and performance tests.
• Use Jenkins, GitLab Runners, and other CI/CD tools to build and deploy applications across environments.
• Lead technical design and code reviews, participate in Agile ceremonies, and troubleshoot software defects.
• Mentor junior developers, provide technical support, and automate repetitive tasks.

Requirements

• 7+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in C# and/or Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, databases, and cloud technologies, preferably AWS.
• Experience as a hands-on tech lead collaborating with business stakeholders, product managers, UX designers, and other technical leads.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, scalable microservice architectures, secure maintainable code, and object-oriented systems.
• Experience with automation testing, performance testing, and fixed-income front-office trading systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Experience with Angular, React, FastAPI, Terraform, AWS ECS, AWS Lambda, AWS SNS/SQS, Snowflake, Jenkins, or GitLab Runners.
