Technical Delivery Manager

Location: Onsite at an Axos office location nationwide in the United States; headquarters in San Diego, California

Salary: $105,000–$135,000 per year, plus target discretionary cash and restricted stock unit bonuses of 10% each.

What you will do

• Own delivery strategy, governance, roadmaps, resourcing, milestones, and outcomes across multiple technology initiatives.
• Lead portfolio intake and prioritization, align work to Technical Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters, and remove delivery impediments.
• Standardize SDLC, Scrum/Kanban, quality gates, operating cadences, and delivery documentation across teams.
• Track throughput, lead time, deployment frequency, change failure rate, and recovery time to improve delivery speed and stability.
• Provide executive reporting on project health, risks, dependencies, blockers, trade-offs, and corrective actions.
• Lead, coach, and develop Technical Delivery Managers and Scrum Masters while aligning Product, Engineering, QA, Infrastructure, and project stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of people-management experience.
• Experience leading technical delivery and program execution across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC, delivery frameworks, and agile or hybrid operating models, including Scrum and Kanban.
• Excellent stakeholder management, executive communication, risk management, conflict resolution, and escalation judgment.
• Experience defining and improving KPI scorecards, including DORA-style delivery and stability metrics.
