Software Development Engineer (Fullstack) - Evisort AI

Location: Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; hybrid work with at least 50% of each quarter spent in the office or in the field

Salary: CAD 112,000–168,000 annually, plus potential bonus and annual refresh stock grants

What you will do

• Build and evolve scalable, user-centric features for an AI-driven contract management platform.
• Collaborate with engineering, data science, product management, and design teams on product strategy and roadmap delivery.
• Own multiple platform functional areas from development through production operations.
• Apply strong engineering practices in an iterative, cross-functional environment.
• Share knowledge and mentor teammates while contributing to continuous improvement.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of experience with a web development framework, preferably Python with Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• 3+ years of experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience building and operating SaaS products in cloud environments, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, DevOps, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes; familiarity with Elasticsearch and strong cross-functional communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java and TypeScript.
• Experience working in fast-paced agile environments.
