Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Material Flow Optimization

What you will do

• Lead the creation, implementation, and governance of PFEP databases and tools for complex manufacturing operations.
• Design and optimize end-to-end material flow from receiving and warehousing to line-side delivery.
• Develop replenishment and line-feeding strategies, including kanban, min/max, milk-run, JIT, kitting, sequencing, and point-of-use stocking.
• Implement material-handling systems such as tuggers, AGVs, conveyors, and manual systems, while optimizing production layouts.
• Support NPI by defining material flow and PFEP during the early design phase.
• Partner with operations, supply chain, engineering, and quality teams; lead workshops and train manufacturing and logistics personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.
• At least 5 years of related engineering experience in a similar working environment.
• Experience with PFEP development, material-flow design, line-side delivery, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Ability to work onsite, stand and walk regularly, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Occasional travel is required.
