Network Construction Manager - Georgia only

Location: Georgia, United States; weekly attendance at the Atlanta office required. The role also includes on-site surveys, field meetings, client and construction site visits, and 15–50% travel.

Salary: $68,100–$104,700 USD annually.

What you will do

• Manage construction and fiber-splicing vendors across multiple outside plant projects.
• Validate route planning requirements, including routing, fiber counts, and hut spacing.
• Coordinate access, splicing, testing, materials, documentation, and delivery schedules.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, RFPs, vendor contracts, and risk mitigation plans.
• Interface with customers, subcontractors, municipalities, jurisdictional authorities, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide project-level and executive reporting while ensuring routes meet construction standards.

Requirements

• At least five years of telecommunications industry experience involving outside plant construction, fiber optics, and project management.
• At least five years of experience with outside plant construction and large capital projects.
• Knowledge of fiber-optic cable splicing and testing, fiber specifications, construction standards, and optical network design principles.
• Experience managing RFPs, construction schedules, vendor negotiations, and project documentation.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Email, Google Earth, and AutoCAD.
• Must be approved to work in the United States and hold a valid driver’s license with no major infractions in the past five years.
