Senior IAM Engineer M&A (Cybersecurity)

Salary: $96,500–$183,500 per year

What you will do

• Lead technical onboarding and identity integration for newly acquired and divested entities.
• Design identity federation and trust models across multiple domains and Active Directory forests.
• Drive the migration of users, devices, and applications to hirify.global-managed platforms.
• Develop automation scripts and workflows for identity provisioning and deprovisioning during M&A transitions.
• Advise business and technical stakeholders on secure identity designs and reduce transaction-related risk.
• Maintain M&A identity playbooks, standards, and documentation while serving as an identity architecture subject matter expert.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience, master’s degree with 5 years, or PhD with 0 years of experience.
• Professional experience in information security, ideally as a security or identity engineer.
• Direct experience with M&A, divestitures, or multi-company collaboration.
• Experience with Entra, Okta, or PingOne and SAML, OIDC, and OAuth 2.0.
• Proficiency in Active Directory domains, forests, and trusts, plus knowledge of identity governance, access lifecycle management, and least privilege.
• Working knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure and collaboration platforms such as M365, GSuite, or Slack.

Nice to have

• Identity-focused certifications such as Microsoft Identity and Access Administrator, Okta, or Ping Identity certifications.
• Security certifications such as SANS or AWS.
• Knowledge of NIST 800 and ISO 27001.
• Practical experience designing and implementing security architecture solutions.
