Senior Identity Application Architect (CIAM/IAM)

hirify.global's Information Technology Shared Services department develops and governs identity solutions supporting customer and workforce access across cloud and enterprise platforms.

What you will do

• Lead the architecture and design of CIAM and IAM solutions for customer, partner, and workforce identity use cases.
• Define reference architectures, technical standards, integration patterns, target states, roadmaps, and governance guardrails.
• Architect authentication, authorization, federation, SSO, MFA, identity proofing, registration, account recovery, consent, and progressive profiling journeys.
• Design integrations using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, SCIM, LDAP, REST APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
• Guide engineering teams in implementing identity-enabled applications, APIs, portals, onboarding workflows, lifecycle automation, and entitlement models.
• Improve identity platforms and integrations for resilience, scalability, observability, auditability, privacy, compliance, and reduced technical debt.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of progressive experience in IAM, application security, or enterprise architecture, including complex identity solution design.
• At least 4 years architecting or leading CIAM and/or IAM platform implementations.
• Experience integrating identity providers and cloud, customer-facing, HR, CRM, and IT service management platforms.
• Experience with Okta, Auth0, Microsoft Entra ID, AWS, Azure, Salesforce, ServiceNow, or comparable platforms.
• Strong knowledge of identity architecture, access governance, API security, secure software practices, observability, and distributed systems.
• Required certification in an identity or cybersecurity discipline, such as CISSP, CCSP, IDPro, Okta certification, Microsoft SC-300, or AWS Security Specialty.

Nice to have

• Experience addressing agentic AI, non-human identity, machine identity, and modern IAM governance challenges.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted engineering tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
• Experience with Agile delivery practices and Jira.
