Reservoir Engineer (Oil and Gas)

What you will do

• Identify, prioritize, present, and monitor oil and gas development and exploitation projects.
• Evaluate reservoir, production, injection, pressure, geological, and well-log data.
• Construct depletion plans, reservoir models, wellbore schematics, and field development histories.
• Analyze reservoir mechanics and recovery potential, including Nodal Analysis.
• Produce structure, production, isobaric, and isopach maps.
• Evaluate project economics and collaborate with geologists and operations engineers to mature rate and reserve additions.

Requirements

• At least four years of reservoir engineering experience and a proven ability to generate investment opportunities.
• Bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from an accredited four-year university.
• Ability to conduct detailed reservoir evaluations and integrate geological data into engineering calculations and reservoir models.
• Ability to solve problems accurately, manage diverse priorities, and maintain effective working relationships across teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, project management, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Availability 24 hours per day for on-call questions and emergencies.

Nice to have

• Experience with Petra, Harmony, CMG, IP, Rose, Spotfire, or R.
