Reservoir Engineer CO2 (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Develop and execute CO2 flood projects supporting the SACROC asset.
• Collaborate with reservoir engineers, geologists, production and facility engineers, and field operations.
• Apply reservoir management practices including material balance, injector optimization, conformance improvement, flood pattern surveillance, and performance forecasting.
• Analyze field performance and identify capital reinvestment and enhancement opportunities.
• Prepare AFEs, economic analyses, technical documents, and management presentations.
• Lead projects while working as a non-supervisory member of a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant reservoir engineering experience.
• Ability to work from the Midland, Texas office under a hybrid schedule.
• Strong knowledge of petroleum engineering principles, reservoir analysis, pattern management, and oilfield operations.
• Ability to make technically and economically sound recommendations with incomplete information.
• Understanding of oil and gas finance, reserves, economics, and typical well-logging suites.
• Proficiency with technical and economic software, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, production management software, and data management tools.

Nice to have

• Waterflood or CO2 flood experience.
• Experience with SACROC programs such as KMWAG and KMPLAN.
