Employment Law Attorney

Salary: $170,000–$250,000 annually

What you will do

• Manage employment litigation from case evaluation and discovery through motion practice, depositions, mediation, settlement negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Represent employers in wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage-and-hour, PAGA, FEHA, and Labor Code matters.
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies.
• Take and defend depositions and prepare clients and witnesses for hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff while maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Hands-on employment litigation experience, including independently managing cases from inception through resolution.
• Strong knowledge of California employment laws, including FEHA, the Labor Code, and wage-and-hour regulations.
• Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
