Litigation Attorneys – Los Angeles (West Los Angeles) (Labor & Employment)

Location: Los Angeles, California, with particular interest in attorneys based in or interested in West Los Angeles

Salary: $230,000–$275,000 per year, plus a competitive hours-based bonus.

What you will do

• Handle litigation matters through discovery, motion practice, mediation, and trial preparation.
• Take and defend depositions and manage written discovery.
• Draft and argue motions and conduct legal research and analysis.
• Work directly with clients on labor and employment matters.
• Apply civil litigation or insurance defense experience to a management-side labor and employment practice.
• Contribute to writing, publishing, and speaking opportunities.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and active membership in good standing with the California State Bar.
• At least 3 years of litigation experience preferred.
• Labor and employment experience is welcomed but not required.
• Civil litigation, insurance defense, or other substantive litigation experience.
• Experience with depositions, discovery, motion drafting, or motion arguments preferred.
• Strong analytical, writing, organizational, and client-service skills; excellent academics expected.
