What you will do

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering teams across process, mechanical, electrical, civil/structural, and instrumentation and controls disciplines.
• Manage engineering execution from feasibility, conceptual design, and FEED through detailed engineering, construction support, commissioning, and start-up.
• Establish execution plans, design standards, schedules, and deliverables aligned with project cost, schedule, quality, and safety objectives.
• Coordinate with project management, procurement, construction, commissioning, operations, clients, licensors, OEMs, and external engineering partners.
• Support equipment selection, vendor evaluations, technical bid reviews, contractor oversight, field engineering, RFI resolution, and as-built documentation.
• Lead design reviews, HAZOPs, PHA studies, constructability reviews, readiness reviews, change management, and technical risk mitigation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field; Computer Science or Technical Management may be considered with extensive relevant experience.
• At least 15 years of progressive engineering experience in industrial or heavy manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing engineering teams on large-scale capital projects; projects of $500 million or more are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EPC execution models and stage-gated project development.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects through execution and commissioning.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial, energy, oil and gas, petrochemical, or related project environments.

Nice to have

• Current Professional Engineer license in good standing.
• Experience with international vendors and global engineering teams.
• Familiarity with 3D modeling, model-based reviews, and document control platforms.
• Experience with AFE development, cost control, scheduling using Primavera P6 or MS Project, and contractor oversight.
