System Test Enablement Manager (Manufacturing Test Automation)

Location: Santa Clara, California; primarily in-office work from the Santa Clara office is expected

Annual base salary: $170,000–$255,000 USD, with potential incentive pay and/or equity.

What you will do

• Define and execute the systems test enablement strategy, technology roadmap, and operating model.
• Lead, mentor, and grow an engineering team developing test frameworks, validation automation, test infrastructure, and operational data services.
• Own scalable manufacturing test platforms, including framework capabilities, testbook development, equipment configuration, and factory integration.
• Improve software delivery speed and reliability through development workflows, CI/CD validation, release governance, and continuous verification.
• Establish manufacturing and systems test data foundations with single-source-of-truth ownership, observability, and operational dashboards.
• Partner with Design Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, Quality, and Contract Manufacturers to improve test coverage, throughput, and product quality.

Requirements

• Experience hiring, mentoring, and guiding high-performing software, systems, test, or manufacturing engineering teams.
• Technical expertise in automated test frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, validation environments, and hardware or systems test platforms.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing test data pipelines, APIs, databases, and data-quality practices.
• Ability to translate complex cross-functional operational needs into roadmaps, deliverables, and measurable quality outcomes.
• Ability to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with company policies, except during PTO, work travel, or approved leave.
