Registered Nurse - Oncology - Framingham (32 hr) (Oncology)

Location: Onsite in Framingham, Massachusetts

Pay range: $37.18–$47.41 per hour

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care and manage patient care from admission through discharge.
• Assess patients, identify expected outcomes, and develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and perform nursing procedures and treatments while monitoring patient responses.
• Educate patients and families, coordinate discharge planning, and connect patients with appropriate resources.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
• Support patient safety, quality improvement, evidence-based practice, mentoring, and shared governance activities.

Requirements

• Massachusetts RN licensure required.
• At least two years of clinical nursing experience.
• Current Basic Life Support certification required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.
• Knowledge of the nursing process, healthcare practices, pharmacology, treatment modalities, quality, and patient safety.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and work irregular hours when required.

Nice to have

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
• Three years of clinical nursing experience.
• Certifications relevant to oncology and the department’s patient care.
