LPN - Oncology

Location: Must be based in Norfolk, Virginia, with the ability to travel between offices as needed.

Compensation: $19.50 - $46.20 per hour

What you will do

• Assist with clinical procedures including injections, biopsies, and LEEP.
• Assess patients for changes in condition and monitor lab results or scans.
• Coordinate patient care by setting up referrals, obtaining prior authorizations, and managing pathology reports.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and document all elements of care.
• Serve as a resource for Medical Assistants and communicate interventions to physicians or advanced practice providers.
• Manage patient phone calls and prescription refill lines.

Requirements

• Current LPN state license and registration with the State Board of Practical Nursing in Virginia.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Graduate from an accredited school for practical nursing.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting patients, bending, and standing for extensive periods.
• Must be willing to travel between offices when needed.
