Registered Nurse (RN) (Oncology)

Location: Pekin, Illinois, United States; in-person clinic work with travel to satellite clinics 1–2 days per week

Salary: $33.00–$48.00 per hour

What you will do

• Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other oncology treatments in accordance with safety protocols.
• Perform port flushes, dressing changes, injections, catheterizations, and other clinical procedures.
• Assess patients in person and by phone for side effects, toxicities, emergencies, and overall well-being.
• Support physicians with diagnostic procedures and provide thorough nursing assessments.
• Prepare daily treatment schedules, teaching materials, and clinic resources.
• Triage patient calls, respond to emergencies, maintain an organized treatment environment, and coordinate with nurses and external care partners.

Requirements

• Current Illinois RN license required.
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Passion for oncology nursing and patient-centered care.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinic environment and meet the physical demands of patient care, including extended standing and walking and occasional lifting of up to 40 lbs.
• BSN preferred.
• Maintain HIPAA and safety standards and obtain OCN certification within 3 years.
