Salary: $36.50–$58.84 per hour, depending on experience.

What you will do

• Provide professional nursing care for oncology and hematology patients according to established standards.
• Assist physicians with examinations and procedures while maintaining efficient patient flow.
• Assess and document vital signs, medical history changes, laboratory and imaging findings, and treatment reactions.
• Perform venipuncture, access implanted ports, maintain central-line devices, and administer medications through subcutaneous, intramuscular, and venous routes.
• Triage patient calls, maintain accurate clinical and procedure documentation, and complete authorization and consent requirements.
• Follow safety protocols for cytotoxic agents and biohazardous waste, support satellite offices, and provide guidance to medical assistants.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program; a BSN is preferred.
• Current RN license and registration with the State Board of Nursing in the practicing state.
• Current Basic Life Support certification and compliance with continuing education requirements.
• 0–3 years of nursing experience; at least one year of oncology experience is preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift or carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work in an oncology and hematology clinic environment with possible exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, radiation, and medical preparations.

Nice to have

• At least one year of oncology nursing experience.
• Oncology certification.
• BSN qualification.
