RN Clinician (Oncology)

Location: Aurora, Colorado, with travel to Centennial, Englewood, or Littleton

Salary: $36.00–$46.00 per hour

What you will do

• Coordinate patient care with internal teams and external healthcare entities.
• Triage patient calls related to treatment and symptom management.
• Monitor patient compliance with oral chemotherapy regimens and provide follow-up after initial chemotherapy.
• Assist physicians with IKM chemotherapy regimens and manage electronic and telephone prescription requests.
• Communicate laboratory and scan results to patients and support disability and FMLA paperwork.
• Act as a liaison between physicians, mid-level providers, infusion services, and outside resources.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional nursing education program.
• At least two years of nursing experience.
• Availability for a full-time, on-site role serving the Southeast Division clinics in Colorado.
• Ability to work in an oncology/hematology clinic environment with potential exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, radiation, and medical preparations.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including extended sitting or standing and occasional lifting of up to 40 pounds.
• Successful completion of a background check and non-federal drug test, excluding marijuana.

Nice to have

• OCN certification; certified nurses are eligible for OCN incentive pay after 90 days or upon obtaining certification.
