Corporate FP&A Analyst (Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Partner with asset analysts and Operations to develop annual plans and monthly forecasts covering production, operating expenses, capital expenditures, and drilling assumptions.
• Coordinate the annual planning process, including timelines, requirements, meetings, financial schedules, analysis, and presentations.
• Consolidate asset team plans in the High-Level Model, Plan Model, and Forecast Model.
• Prepare monthly executive reporting packages, variance analysis, financial tie-outs, and trend analyses.
• Conduct sensitivity analysis, scenario modeling, ad hoc financial analysis, and strategic projects for executive leadership.
• Improve budgeting workflows, data governance, reporting automation, dashboards, and the use of OneStream.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience in finance, accounting, or financial reporting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving, data management, organizational, and administrative skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and deliver accurate, precise results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex financial information clearly.
• Required proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of SAP, Power BI, and OneStream FP&A Module.
