Focus on building reporting packages and Power BI dashboards, evaluating growth projects and capital expenditures, and leading complex sensitivity and forecasting analysis for management decisions.

is a large energy infrastructure company providing natural gas transportation and storage services across North America.
What you will do
- Coordinate, consolidate, and analyze financial forecasts, budgets, and long-range outlooks for natural gas assets.
- Develop reporting packages for wholly owned assets and joint ventures, including bi-weekly forecasts and quarterly business reviews.
- Build and maintain financial models, variance analyses, pricing sensitivities, operational sensitivities, and volume sensitivities.
- Use Power BI to improve reporting and create business dashboards.
- Partner with Business Development, Commercial, Operations, Accounting, and other functions to assess growth projects, capital expenditures, and operational impacts.
- Lead, guide, and mentor team members while supporting audit requests, special projects, and ad hoc financial analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 5+ years of financial modeling and financial planning experience; energy or midstream experience is preferred.
- Strong analysis, forecasting, planning, reporting, and accounting knowledge.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH, SUMIF, PivotTables, macros, VBA, advanced charts, graphs, and data validation.
- Ability to analyze large volumes of data, solve complex problems, and communicate financial results to management and Accounting.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States; the role is based in Birmingham and uses a hybrid arrangement.
Nice to have
- MBA and/or CPA.
- Working knowledge of natural gas transportation and storage.
- Experience in an energy or midstream company.
