Senior AI Design Systems & Front-End Engineer (Angular)

What you will do

• Build and own AI tools that generate initial UI designs from approved brand standards, design-system components, and user research.
• Develop a design craft scoring guide and release-test framework for evaluating design quality.
• Build tools that assess designs and convert approved UI into working Angular component code.
• Define design-system, accessibility, writing, and automated quality-check rules, including the handling of false positives.
• Use user research evidence to support design decisions and create reusable patterns for the enterprise design system.
• Document processes, create playbooks and training, and support testing and rollout of new tools and ways of working.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience developing agentic AI tools, AI agents, and reusable AI skills for designers.
• Experience generating UI screen designs from descriptions and converting designs into working component code.
• Front-end development experience, preferably with Angular, plus Web Components, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Accessibility engineering experience, including WCAG 2.2 Level AA testing, remediation, screen readers, assistive technologies, and axe-core.
• Experience with Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Claude Design, ChatGPT Work, and Codex.
• Ability to diagram complex processes and secure agreement from designers, engineers, and business partners.

Nice to have

• Deep Figma experience with variables, design tokens, shared component libraries, and multiple brand themes.
• Experience with interface copy, established style guides, LLM evaluation, regression testing, or evaluation sets.
• Experience in insurance, financial services, or another heavily regulated industry.
