Software Developer (AI)

Location: Remote from any location; up to four trips per year to Lexington or field-test sites may be required. Applicants must be US citizens and hold an active Secret clearance.

What you will do

• Develop novel discriminative and generative AI algorithms and technologies.
• Integrate AI software components into prototypes and real-time or near-real-time systems.
• Design data pipelines with controlled processing speed, latency, overflow, and underflow.
• Use heterogeneous hardware and GPU compute to accelerate AI workloads.
• Apply AI frameworks, containerization, package management, and application infrastructure practices.
• Troubleshoot complex AI-related issues and support hardware-software integration.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least 5 years of software, algorithm, object-oriented software design, architecture, XML, SQL, and Git/GitHub experience.
• At least 3 years of AI/ML algorithm development, AI/ML infrastructure, GPU compute, deep learning, generative AI, inference, and AI application development.
• At least 3 years of experience with PyTorch and other AI frameworks or libraries such as TensorFlow or scikit-learn.
• At least 2 years of C/C++ programming experience and experience with Maven or Gradle, Git/GitLab, Make, or Autotools.
• Active Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• AI model distillation or other edge AI processing experience.
• Fullstack development experience.
• Image processing experience.
• Communications or RF engineering experience, especially with imagery or RF SIGINT recordings.
