What you will do

• Develop and optimize advanced power MOSFET device structures and technologies.
• Design semiconductor products to meet electrical, reliability, cost, and manufacturing requirements.
• Apply semiconductor device physics to analyze performance and efficiency in target applications.
• Evaluate device concepts, materials, structures, processes, and competing semiconductor technologies.
• Contribute to technology roadmaps and long-term semiconductor R&D strategies.
• Lead technical projects, communicate risks and results, and collaborate with process, product, manufacturing, quality, reliability, applications, and operations teams.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in electrical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, materials science, physics, chemical engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of semiconductor industry experience in MOSFET, power semiconductor, discrete semiconductor, or related device/process development.
• Strong understanding of MOSFET device physics, semiconductor processing, fabrication, and wafer manufacturing.
• Experience with bench testing, device characterization, electrical test data analysis, and experimental design.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work in the Greater Phoenix Area, Arizona.

Nice to have

• Ph.D. in electrical engineering, semiconductor engineering, materials science, or physics.
• Experience with planar, trench, superjunction, high-voltage, or low-voltage power MOSFET technologies.
• Experience with TCAD, process and device simulation, DOE, statistical analysis, process capability analysis, and semiconductor reliability.
• Programming or data-analysis experience with Python, MATLAB, JMP, Minitab, or similar tools.
• Experience taking semiconductor technologies from concept through qualification, volume ramp, and new product release.
