Senior Principal R&D Engineer (Semiconductor)

Gross annual salary: €120,000–€160,000

What you will do

• Define technology roadmaps and long-term strategies for high-voltage power semiconductor device platforms.
• Lead complex technology development projects from concept through production release.
• Develop innovative device architectures and concepts using TCAD and other modeling tools.
• Resolve process integration, manufacturability, yield, reliability, and characterization challenges.
• Generate intellectual property through patents and technical publications.
• Mentor R&D engineers and collaborate with Product Engineering, Operations, Quality, Marketing, and Applications.

Requirements

• PhD in Semiconductor Physics, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 15 years of R&D experience in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Direct experience with high-voltage (>1000V) IGBT and MOSFET technologies.
• Deep expertise in device physics, TCAD simulations, process integration, reliability, and characterization.
• Ability to lead complex technology development activities and solve challenging technical problems.
• Strong communication, collaboration, stakeholder influence, and mentoring skills.
