Product Development Engineer-IV (C/Go)

What you will do

• Research, design, plan, develop, code, and evaluate advanced technologies for a commercial CDN product.
• Translate customer requirements and strategic objectives into product designs and detailed technical plans.
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, marketing, customer service, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Develop and enhance the IPCDN product using open-source coding techniques.
• Create product requirements, design documents, transaction models, capacity and bandwidth models, system definitions, and operational procedures.
• Guide product acceptance, quality assurance and operations handoff, while supporting application reliability and incident recovery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• 7+ years of related experience in programming, system operations, or system integration.
• Strong experience with multiple object-oriented programming languages, including Perl, C, C++, and Go.
• Working knowledge of HTTP, DNS, networking, APIs, and system operations.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment and work across product development and engineering processes.
• Availability for regular attendance and occasional nights, weekends, and variable schedules.
