Training Specialist

Location: 100% remote within the United States; the posting also lists Georgia, United States.

Salary: USD $80,000–$90,000 per year.

What you will do

• Design and manage scalable curricula and training initiatives for large-scale adoption and change programs.
• Assess workflows, identify systemic gaps, and translate organizational goals into actionable training strategies.
• Develop learning solutions across microlearning, instructor-led facilitation, job aids, and potentially eLearning.
• Analyze proposed changes and downstream impacts to support rollout, sustainment, and long-term adoption.
• Collaborate with technologists, systems experts, developers, subject-matter experts, and program leadership.
• Ensure training is accessible, engaging, and measurable across diverse audiences and modalities.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience developing, administering, and managing learning curricula and training initiatives.
• Experience delivering large-scale training in diverse modalities and forums.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and leading or mentoring staff.
• Experience engaging clients or executive management and training audiences on highly technical data science content.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills and experience with authoring tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Adobe Captivate.
• Knowledge of Section 508 compliance, a bachelor’s degree, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination.

Nice to have

• Public health domain experience.
• Experience as an instructional systems designer, instructor, or curriculum designer.
• Experience developing or delivering training with AI tools such as WellSaid.
• Experience managing and scaling learning resources.
• Knowledge of gamification techniques for learning environments.
