Associate (Litigation)

Location: Los Angeles, California, United States; based in the Los Angeles office

Salary: $310,000–$365,000 per year, with the final offer based on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Handle and manage all phases of litigation, including fact investigation, pleadings, discovery, expert matters, motions, pretrial proceedings, trial, and settlement.
• Prepare witnesses for depositions and manage discovery activities.
• Draft complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
• Manage the filing and service of pleadings.
• Develop and maintain strong business and client relationships.
• Manage junior attorneys and deliver high-quality work under pressure and against deadlines.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of associate experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Membership in the California State Bar in good standing.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• Exceptional research, analytical, oral advocacy, and writing skills.
• Significant experience across all phases of discovery and litigation.
