Litigation Attorney (Personal Injury)

Location: Los Angeles, California, US. The role is primarily in person during the initial 90-day introductory period, then eligible for a hybrid schedule with two remote days per week. Candidates outside Los Angeles may be considered if they are prepared to relocate to Los Angeles at their own expense before starting. No relocation assistance is provided.

Salary: $100,000–$180,000 annual, plus a signing bonus and performance-based percentages on resolved matters.

What you will do

• Handle a broad range of plaintiff-side personal injury matters from filing through resolution and trial.
• Work on auto, motorcycle, trucking, commercial vehicle, premises liability, catastrophic injury, traumatic brain injury, and wrongful death claims.
• Develop litigation strategy, manage cases, conduct discovery, handle law and motion practice, negotiate resolutions, and prepare for trial.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys, associates, litigation paralegals, legal assistants, and other support professionals.
• Build increasing responsibility toward managing an independent caseload and leading a litigation team.

Requirements

• Active admission to the State Bar of California.
• Ideally, at least two years of plaintiff-side personal injury experience.
• Previous personal injury pre-litigation or litigation experience; relevant defense-side experience may also be considered.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team, take ownership of work, and maintain strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work in the Los Angeles area and commute to the office.
