Automation Specialist (Water Quality/ Animal Life Support)

Location: hirify.global San Antonio, United States; onsite work at the park

Compensation: $18.00 per hour

What you will do

• Monitor, operate, inspect, and maintain controls, instrumentation, and support equipment for animal life support systems and water treatment facilities.
• Test, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on low- and medium-voltage industrial electrical systems, motors, machinery, and related components.
• Install conduits, wires, pull boxes, instrumentation, and other electrical system components.
• Install, maintain, repair, and calibrate electronic recording and indicating instruments.
• Schedule, coordinate, supervise, inspect, and participate in maintenance of life support equipment and surrounding areas.
• Respond to guest and customer needs and assist other park areas when required.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.
• At least two years of Level II experience plus three years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid state driver's license and ability to provide a DMV report.
• Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with guests and team members.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work weekends, holidays, early mornings, and late evenings.
