Manager, Process Engineering (Golf Ball Manufacturing)

Salary: $113,200–$169,600 annual

What you will do

• Develop and commercialize manufacturing processes for new and modified golf balls.
• Own the golf ball commercialization process for manufacturing and maintain product specifications, material bills, and manufacturing instructions.
• Generate capital project requests and collaborate with equipment engineering on process improvement, equipment replacement, and new product projects.
• Drive productivity, process efficiency, cost savings, quality improvements, and defect reduction across operations.
• Work with material suppliers on development and qualification, conduct capability studies and raw material vendor audits, and provide technical support to subsidiary and third-party manufacturing sites.
• Supervise Process Engineers and Engineering Technicians through coaching, training, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Physical Sciences.
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and statistical analysis programs.
• Ability to establish and maintain technical documentation, product costs, specifications, and manufacturing instructions.
• Ability to work onsite in Chicopee, Massachusetts and regularly stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds and follow safety, PPE, and standardized processes.

• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing methodologies.
