Instrument and Electrical Specialist

What you will do

• Provide hands-on technical support for instrumentation, electrical systems, PLCs, DCS, and SIS.
• Diagnose complex equipment, control, recurring failure, trip, and production-critical issues with technicians and operations.
• Review work scopes, plans, task lists, drawings, procedures, testing requirements, tools, and materials for execution readiness.
• Support preventive maintenance, inspections, loop checks, functional testing, interlock verification, commissioning, startups, capital projects, and turnarounds.
• Maintain I&E asset, task-list, and maintenance-plan data in SAP and develop site procedures and standards.
• Lead technical coordination, failure analysis, reliability improvements, coaching, and knowledge transfer without direct supervisory responsibility.

Requirements

• Unrestricted right to work for hirify.global in the United States is required.
• High school diploma or associate degree.
• Significant experience in an industrial manufacturing environment such as petrochemical, chemical, or refining.
• Hands-on experience with instrumentation, electrical systems, and PLC-based controls.
• Ability to interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, and one-line drawings.
• Ability to coordinate technical work between technicians, engineers, planners, and operations.

Nice to have

• Technical degree in instrumentation, electrical, mechatronics, or equivalent experience.
• SAP maintenance system experience.
