Maintenance Technician, Rotating Equipment

What you will do

• Install, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and replace plant machinery and equipment.
• Maintain rotating equipment such as pumps, turbines, and compressors according to specifications and manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform diagnostic and preventive maintenance on mechanical components, including shaft alignment.
• Interpret repair manuals, procure replacement parts, and maintain tools and equipment.
• Perform safe rigging, material handling, climbing, and lifting-device operations while following safety procedures.
• Coordinate with team members, provide peer training as experience is gained, and complete assigned tasks independently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience as a maintenance technician or mechanic working with rotating equipment.
• Availability for overtime and emergency callouts.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb, use safety gear, and lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to build collaborative working relationships and follow established safety and maintenance procedures.
