Production Supervisor C Crew (Automotive)

Location: Warren, Michigan, United States. Onsite C Crew schedule: Friday and Saturday, 6:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; Sunday and Monday, 6:00 p.m.–4:30 a.m.

What you will do

• Supervise production team members and direct daily activities for a single production line or defined production area.
• Plan production operations, priorities, sequences, schedules, and manufacturing activities.
• Monitor compliance with production methods, quality standards, safety regulations, and operating procedures.
• Review production and operating reports, compile production data, and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance issues.
• Inspect machines and equipment to support reliable operation and efficient utilization.
• Coach, counsel, train, and motivate employees while promoting safe and efficient production practices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Strong communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Ability to work the specified C Crew Friday–Monday schedule.
• Follow collective bargaining agreements, plant rules, safety requirements, attendance policies, and other production procedures.

Nice to have

• Experience in a just-in-time automotive sequencing environment.
• Union experience.
