Closing Manager (Retail)

What you will do

• Lead closing operations across recovery, utility, perishables, and overnight preparation to ensure readiness for the next opening.
• Manage and coach the Assistant Closing Manager, Recovery team, and Utility team.
• Maintain GOLD service standards, engage with members, and resolve or escalate evening concerns.
• Monitor product rotation, freshness, in-stock levels, merchandising, quality checks, and waste reduction.
• Enforce sanitation, cold-chain, safety, cleaning, and audit-readiness procedures.
• Serve as Manager on Duty when assigned and use operational reporting tools to improve club performance.

Requirements

• Two years of experience in retail, supermarket, or warehouse perishable operations.
• Inventory turnover and waste reduction experience.
• Forklift certification and a valid ServSafe Food Safety Certification, maintained in good standing.
• High school diploma and basic proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
• Open shift availability, regular full attendance, and completion of all required training and certifications.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to work in an environment involving movement, lifting, temperature extremes, noise, and cleaning agents.
