Senior Human Resources Business Partner (HR)

Location: Remote from the United States; Michigan-based home location with up to 35% USA travel

Salary: $97,700–$130,300 annually

What you will do

• Partner with business leaders and client groups to align HR strategy with short- and long-term business objectives.
• Advise managers and senior leaders on performance management, talent development, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.
• Lead employee relations investigations, issue resolution, counseling documentation, and risk assessment.
• Implement workforce, succession, compensation, talent management, training, and company-wide HR initiatives.
• Manage large-scale strategic projects, restructuring events, change management, and M&A activities.
• Collaborate with Compensation, Talent Acquisition, and Learning & Development teams while mentoring HRBPs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 7–10+ years of progressive HRBP experience advising, coaching, and influencing senior leaders.
• Experience building business partnerships and supporting leadership, organizational change, and business objectives.
• Strong communication, consultation, project planning, judgment, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage complex employee relations matters, investigations, talent reviews, succession planning, and strategic initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience in an HR Center of Excellence such as Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition, or Compensation.
• PHR or another professional designation.
• Master’s degree.
