TL;DR
US HEVA Neurology Asset/Indication Lead (HEOR/Neurology): Developing and executing US payer-focused health economics and outcomes research strategies for Sanofi’s neurology pipeline with an accent on evidence generation, market access, and value demonstration. Focus on economic modeling, real-world evidence, evidence synthesis, payer engagement, and translating complex scientific data into launch and lifecycle strategies.

Location: Cambridge, MA or Morristown, NJ; hybrid schedule with 3 days per week in the office and 20% travel

What you will do

  • Develop and implement US payer-focused HEVA strategies for the neurology pipeline across launch and lifecycle management.
  • Lead HEOR research across economic modeling, observational research, database analysis, evidence synthesis, systematic literature reviews, and clinical outcomes assessment development.
  • Translate target value propositions and market access strategies into evidence hypotheses, research agendas, and generation plans.
  • Partner with commercial, medical affairs, clinical development, market access, and global HEVA teams to align evidence with portfolio and pricing decisions.
  • Represent the neurology portfolio at scientific conferences, industry forums, payer engagements, and external evidence organizations.
  • Manage research investments and vendors, mentor junior colleagues, and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree such as PhD, MD, MS, MPH, or PharmD in a scientific discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in health economics, outcomes research, or a related field, including US product launch experience.
  • Strong understanding of the US healthcare system, payer evidence requirements, market access, reimbursement, and value demonstration.
  • Experience with economic modeling, observational research, evidence synthesis, COA development, meta-analysis, indirect treatment comparisons, and real-world data.
  • Knowledge of US and global HTA processes, evidence dissemination requirements, pharmaceutical regulations, and compliance standards.
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific and strategic topics to senior management and cross-functional stakeholders while managing multiple priorities independently.

Nice to have

  • Neurology experience, especially in neurodegenerative diseases, movement disorders, or neuromuscular diseases.
  • Experience with US payer advisory boards, formulary submissions, outcomes-based contracting, or HTA submissions.
  • Peer-reviewed scientific or methods publications.
