Senior Execution Support Engineer (FIX/Python)

What you will do

• Provide front-line production support for Portfolio Managers and Execution Traders across OMS, EMS, FIX, APIs, and related trading systems.
• Investigate and resolve issues involving orders, executions, allocations, positions, market data, connectivity, and downstream trading workflows.
• Monitor production reliability and performance, respond to alerts and incidents, and perform root-cause analysis.
• Use SQL, Linux, logs, and FIX messages to diagnose production issues and drive permanent fixes.
• Develop and support Python-based tools and automation for trading and support workflows.
• Coordinate UAT, releases, upgrades, onboarding, documentation, and system enhancements with internal teams and external vendors.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience supporting front-office trading systems in a hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank, or similar environment.
• Experience with FlexTrade or similar OMS/EMS platforms and a strong understanding of the trade lifecycle.
• Strong knowledge of FIX protocol, electronic trading workflows, and multiple asset classes, including equities, options, futures, FX, fixed income, and derivatives.
• Hands-on experience with SQL, Linux, Python, API integrations, production monitoring, incident management, and application support.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, including direct collaboration with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Technology teams, and external vendors.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.

• SIE, Series 7, Series 57, and/or Series 63 licenses.
