Sr Applications Administrator (System/Tools/Platform/SaaS)

What you will do

• Create, monitor, administer, troubleshoot, patch, and optimize application landscapes.
• Transport code changes between landscapes and review performance and growth to prevent outages or service degradation.
• Administer middleware, cloud, monitoring, single sign-on, and job scheduling tools.
• Automate operational processes, standardize application administration, and mentor IT staff.
• Coordinate work across multiple projects and implement application administration standards.
• Document maintenance and recovery procedures and test backup and data recoverability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience supporting Java-based applications, JBoss, Tomcat, IBM MQ Broker, job scheduling tools, single sign-on tools, monitoring tools, Unix shell scripting, and SQL Server or Oracle.
• Experience administering Microsoft Power Platform, Azure, and middleware tools such as IBM Broker/MQ.
• Experience with PowerShell, Python, Linux, and AI application development and integration.
• Strong technical communication skills, including communication with senior management.
• Ability to work in an office environment in Dallas, Texas.
